He earned his Juris Doctor in 2012 from the University of California College of the Law in San Francisco (UC Law SF), with a concentration in International and Comparative Law, focusing on the global legal system for asylum seekers and refugees. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Stanford University.
