Alexandra Cotroneo is a recent Associate assisting national corporations as well as families with nonimmigrant and immigrant matters. Alexandra has gained experience in nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, TN,
etc.), immigrant visas (K-1, F-2B , E-3, etc.), permanent residency applications (I-140, I-485, etc.), and naturalization applications (N-400).
Prior to joining Levin and Pangilinan PC, Alexandra practiced civil litigation, where she drafted pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions and appeared in court. She successfully engaged in pre-litigation, reaching numerous settlements.
Alexandra earned her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law. During law school, Alexandra held the Senior Managing Editor position of the Santa Clara Law Review and authored an article on the implications of the statutory cap on damages under the Civil Rights Act of 1991. Alexandra competed in Santa Clara's Honors Moot Court Internal, placing as a semi-finalist in oral argument and winning Best Brief. Alexandra also participated in Santa Clara's International Human Right's Clinic advocating for workers' rights and traveled to The Hague to study international criminal law with the Center for Global Law and Policy.
Alexandra is a member of the State Bar of California, The Bar Association of San Francisco, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
