Cara Cox is an associate of the Firm, where she prepares nonimmigrant and immigration petitions for employees of national corporations. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Cox was an immigration attorney for the Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, where she provided pro bono representation on a variety of matters, including on behalf of immigrant survivors of domestic violence and non-immigrant survivors of crime. Ms. Cox also has a background in personal and commercial insurance defense and insurance coverage litigation.
Ms. Cox received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She received her Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where she was the Managing Editor for the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review. Ms. Cox is licensed in the State of New York. Ms. Cox resides in Buffalo, New York where she is also a volunteer board member of Grassroots Gardens of Western New York.
